Today I have created a quick and easy Maya Road Shadow Box for you all using the new The Girls paperie papers. I used some Zapdots, Helmar Professional Acid Free Glue and of course my favorite Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
Other items used are as follows:
1. Maya Road Shadow Box
2. The Girls Paperie Papers
3. Selection of the Girls Paperie Embellishments
4. Studio Calico White Mist
5. Tim Holtz Antique paper Distress Stain
6. Maya Road Chipboards
7. Maya Road Trinket Pins
8. EK Success Border punch
9. Martha Stewart Punch
Start by misting the shaow box then once dry use the Tim Holtz stain to distress edges
Then cover all the chipboard shapes with paper and photos
Once that is done cover one of the chipboard inserts with tulle
Then use a piece of canvas and cut a heart shape. I used my maya Road Canvas to cut into bits.
Attach to insert with your Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive
Assemble flowers as per picture
Use the 450 Quick Dry adhesive to apply ribbon to the next insert And copy as per photos
Use a stick pin and wrap it with some tulle and Adhere to insert with 450 Quick Dry, I also used a small plastic clamp to hold it in place till the glue dried.
Now using a fiskars scallop border punch ( or a border die) punch strips of scallops and layer onto ind=sert as per pictures
Once completely covered then trim adges. I also staggered my scallops so they weren't all even.Follow the pictures to complete the rest of the inserts. I also have used the packaging from the embellishments to punch butterlies and to use as paper.
Here are the rest of the inserts:
Once complete use some Maya Road Mini Banners chipboard to add your surname and or title.
