I am by no means a jewelry maker, but I love all forms of art. Being a mixed media artist, I can't help but have my hands into all forms of creating. FabScraps is not only a great company for scrapbooking, but I fell head-over-heals for their charms and filigrees. They are perfect for making those one of a kind necklaces for yourself or a loved one this holiday season!
Here is a video of the necklaces and how I created them.
I used Helmar's 450 Quick Dry for both necklaces.
Note: In the video you can see a white glue on the flower. I tried using Helmar's Gemstone Glue but I ended up using 450 Quick Dry instead after removing it with Helmar's Remove, their awesome adhesive removal. (Gotta love the creative process!) I would recommend 450 Quick Dry on any crafting metal surface.
Stay tuned in for next week's FabScrap Week with more of their products to share created by the Design Team! On Monday, I will share another great gift idea with a video to show you how I created the "faux" pearls for these necklaces.
See you then!
