Hi Everyone!
Today I created a mixed media canvas to share with you.
I used lots of distress inks, pearlized mists, and Helmar adhesives.
I created the canvas background by gesso-ing first then using a distress ink technique with lots of water and pearlized mists. Then I stamped the sentiment and image on the canvas and heat embossed. I also stamped the image on an old book page then watercolored it. I attached it to the canvas with Helmar Decoupage.
I used Helmar Gemstone glue to attach the tiny little glitter flowers and Helamr Decoupage to add the eggshel mosaic coblestone walk way.
Here is the finished canvas.
I would love to know what you think about my canvas, especially since I am really just a card artist. :)
Like the sentiment says though...."To live a creative life, we must loose our fear of being wrong".
Hugs,
