Hello! It's Carolyn here to share a little mini album I created using Helmar Acid Free Glue, Helmar Zapdots and some fabulous paper and stickers from Authentique - (Uncommon Collection).
My love story album is just that---hopefully a place I can record the stories of my parents and grandparents in order to keep those beautiful memories alive.
I used Helmar Acid Free glue to adhere the patterned paper to the chipboard cover (after painting the scalloped edges, of course!) I added the Authentique letters by adding a Zapdot underneath for some height. I love Zapdots because they are thick and they stick well.
I even used Zapdots to adhere the extra chipboard layer that I wanted to pop up to reach the height of the "LOVE" letters. They held the chipboard piece fine and I know they are tough enough to keep that element on the cover. You can see the height in the picture above.
I love my Zapdots. They come in different sizes--smaller square, larger square, smaller circles, larger circles and they even come in white and black. (I used the larger circle black ones on this project.)
Hopefully, I can record all those special stories about my parents and grandparents in this book so I can pass them along to my children and their children.
