As part of this week's partnership with ClearSnap I am so excited to have been given an opportunity to work with some of Donna Salazar's Mixed Media inx by ColorBox. I teamed that up with some of ColorBox's Fluid Chalk inkpads, to create these two projects!
The first of my projects is a canvas I created as a little inspiration to go up in my craft room. I just loved the colours and I used some yummy Helmar products to team up with these inks.
To create the background I used Helmar Decopage and Craft paste to adhere many layers onto the canvas. I used some paints and sprays and then teamed that up with the ColorBox inks and Unity Stamps to create a lovely mixed media effect. Putting the final elements together was a no brainer with my Helmar 450 Quick Dry and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots at hand to add flowers and alphas.
I hope you like my finished canvas, already hanging in my room.
My second project was created to take part in this month's Helmar Challenge.
These challenges are so much fun. I created this tag for someone very special to me and so I wanted to send her my own little piece of art. It came together in no time thanks to Lydell's awesome sketch (love those) Color Box Fluid Ink in Amber clay to add finish and dimension as well as Helmar Liquid Scrapdots and Helmar 450 Quick dry to adhere it all together!
If you haven't yet had a chance to play along, you have all month, so click on the challenge image above for all the details and get those entries in for a chance to win an awesome pack of Helmar goodies!!
