My name is Martha Richardson and I live in Elizabeth City, NC with my husband. We are empty nesters with all our children and grandchildren living up in Buffalo, NY. I’ve been involved with creating various forms of art for DECADES. My professional training is in Clothing & Textiles and I have been a Family & Consumer Science educator for DECADES. I have been involved with fabric arts, collage, multi-media, paper arts as an instructor and business owner. I started scrapbooking in 1995 but became bored with it fast…at that time it was too basic. I never really gave it up but found a very strong desire to re-visit this medium in 2005…I found that everything had changed and I found myself right back into it. I love working in all mediums! I rely heavily on blogs, online classes & tutorials, FB and other social platforms to learn and keep up with the new products and techniques. I’m looking forward to the next 6 months working with these incredible artists that make up the Helmar Design Team.
