What do we need to see in the New Year?
Lots of “Blingy Bling and foof”, is always my motto!
I have been creating such fun and fluffy things lately and honestly, I think it is because I know I can, without them falling apart. OK…you all know what I am saying. We all have had those over the top project that we love…only to have the head fall off the doll, the flower slip off the page, the chipboard ending up at the bottom of the page protector. Not a positive thing for all that creative effort. Well, this time it was feathers and bling for me and I needed them to stay put, without allot of fuss or time! Feathers only adhere once and you need adhesive that will not goo up the fluff. No little Diva wants goo on her fluff!
I decided to create 2 baby announcement signs for upcoming baby showers in the New Year. Of course we have to have a girl and a boy version…gotta’ have both!!! I used lots of Helmar goodness on each of these pieces, but the key ingrediant is what I call "Stickem" and Helmar Adhesives provides us with plenty of what we need to make these projects easy to put together.
I hope you enjoy them! They were a lot of fun to create and now…well, I want the pink one for my own door.
Don't forget to join the Helmar GIVEAWAY below...great adhesive for the New Year!
Have fun!

Supplies:
Prima, Heidi Swapp, and Imaginesce flowers
Pink Paislee Chipboard Topper and Pixee Stix glitter
Feathered accent wings
Sworavski crystals
Hanging tin word or saying
Process:
- Lay tin art on paper and spray with Helmar V2 Adhesive.
- Sprinkle an ample amount of glitter on top of entire word. Dry.
- Tap off excess glitter and replace in package.
- Adhere Pink Paislee Scallop Sticker to Chipboard topper.
- Add Helmar Gem Glue to front side of chipboard - top & bottom of scallop.
Adhere crystals. Let dry. - Adhere front flowers to top of Chipboard with Helmar Premium Craft Glue. For more volume/lift, add desired Helmar Scrap Dots. Let dry.
- Once chipboard is dry, add Helmar 450 Quick dry Adhesive and adhere feathers to rear of tin accent. Let dry. Make sure you have enough glue on feathers to hold it to the tin word while hanging.
- Lay out next gathering cluster of various sized flowers on table to make a strip across the top of glittered tin phrase. Embellish with layers of flowers, bling, glitter and pipe cleaners. Helmar Scrap Dots are my preference because this section needs to have a natural lift to look good behind the tin word. Helmar adhesive dries clear, which is also important is this piece.
- Adhere flowers to rear of tin piece with Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. Let dry.
Great job on these Beth, I love the feathers
