Today we are proud to feature Lynda Lindley who won Helmar goodies at a Serendipity Scrapbooks crop. We are excited to show off her projects featuring Helmar products:
Blog: I Am A Scrapaholic - Frame Project
Lynda's Blog - "Smooth" Layout
In Linda's words.....
'For my projects, I used two different Helmar adhesives for different reasons. For the frame, I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry adhesive. This adhesive dries clear and it also dries slow enough to allow the crafter to manipulate their project to get things just right when they are working. I like that it spreads smoothly out of the bottle in a nice clean line; allowing me for my project to run lines for my ribbon and beads without needing more than one pass of the bottle.
For the layout, I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots because I wanted some extra height and dimension on my page. I LOVE that it is easy to control how much of the adhesive is used; a small pile for lower items; a tall pile for extra height. I appreciate that the consistency of the product is somewhat solid and allows you to actually see how dimensional your final embellishment will be while you are working. I also like that it dries slowly; thus allowing me to add additional items underneath my flowers for added interest to my page (the ribbon curls).
I will continue to look for ways to use Helmar Adhesives in my crafting projects. Love the adhesives and wanted to say thank you to Helmar for supporting paper crafters with wonderful prize packages and creating such amazing adhesives!!!!"
Thank you Lynda for sharing your creativity with us!
