Hey there Everyone. Erika Taylor here today bring you a whole lotta Helmar in one teensy weensy project. I know, I know, the altered bird house has been done and done again, but it is new to me. A first, a crafting accomplishment!!! I don't think I would have enjoyed creating one in the past as much. Having adhesives that have serious "sticktuitiveness" makes the creating journey so much more fun. No more holding a piece in place for hours on end while it dries. No more wondering if an adhesive runner will or won't do the trick.
For this sweet little house I used the 365 Degrees line from Pink Paislee. The colors of this collection are truly fantastic, and I love those Cork Buttons. Can you say Delish!?! All of the paper was applied to the house using the Permanent Adhesive Runner.
This stuff moves mountains over any other runner I've used. Holy Cannoli. I used Zap Dots for some dimension on the flowers and love how they "pop".Then for all the glass beads, I used the Gemstone Glue.
Some Liquid Scrap Dots to adhere the branches
Love it. Finally for the egg, moss and birdie, I used the 450 Quick Dry.
So after the entire project was done, I'm pretty sure I heard that little birdie tell me that there was in fact an adhesive Goddess. She goes by the name Helmar. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a chance to create something new and exciting to you.
Until next time
