On behalf of myself and all of us here at HELMAR I would to thank all of the service men and women and all the families that have sacrificed so much for us. We salute you!
This week Helmar is happy to feature our preferred Vendor.....Bella Blvd!
Today I'm showing you a card that I created using
HELMARProducts in combination with a Bella Blvd. patterned paper line called Plastino, Maya Road Chip Board pieces as well as Maya Road Ribbon and Trinket Pins. I incorporated some of my own lace into it as well as some Prima flowers.
The HELMAR products I used for this card are pictured here.
My Card is Titled "THANKS A BUNCH" and I used a stamp from My Stamp Box from their Small Greetings sentiments.
I cut a square out of the Bella Blvd. pattered paper Plastino/Trellis to fit my 5x5 card.I then cut out one circle and one circle half square shape from the Bella Blvd. Plastino/Gardinia using my Purple Cow Freestyle cutter
I adhered the shapes with my Helmar permanent Adhesive Tape Runner to the 5x5 square. After that I then did some sewing on my paper.
Once the sewing was done I added some Helmar craft glue to the back side of my ribbon and put it on the paper.
In the mean time I did a fancy little trick that Karen talked about in yesterday's post and that is using the Helmar Vellum Adhesive to anything you like and then applying glitter to it. For my example of this I used the 2 pieces of Maya Road Chip Board. I first painted them white with acrylic paint. Once dry, I sprayed them with the Helmar Vellum Adhesive spray and sprinkled them with P K Glitz glitter. Once that set for a bit I then spray it again with the Helmar Vellum Adhesive Spray. This sets all the glitter and keeps any of the glitter from falling off. Below is a close up example of the chip board as well as the slight pop that I gave the heart using the Helmar 3D double Sided Adhesives ZapDots.
Once that was done I then Adhered the card with the Helmar Adhesive Tape Runner and set the 5x5 decorated square onto the card. I then added some dew drops from The Robbins Nest using a small dab of the Helmar 450 adhesive. All of the final embellishments were glued on using the Helmar450 Quick dry adhesive as well.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day!
