Hello,
My name is Cathy La Hay and I'm excited to be here and be a part of Helmar Adhesive's Design team.
A little about myself..... I've been scrapping and creating cards and projects since 2004. In no time flat I found myself going from the sofa, AKA-couch or davenport whatever you call it to my scrap table where I am so content to be. There's no TV in there and I don't want to close my eyes and nap. Saturday's go by so fast just sitting in my studio creating. I know you all know the feeling. It's this feeling that brings us all here together. I hope that I can be an inspiration to you all and show you all the wonderful ways to incorporate HELMAR into your projects.
For this project I used these 3 Helmar adhesive products.
All my paper was adhered using the Helmar Premium Craft Glue. For my heavier embellishments such as the Keys I used the 450 Adhesive. This is the strongest, most powerful adhesive I have ever gotten my hands on and I love it. For some of my smaller embellishments I used the Scrap dots.
I recently went to New Orleans for yet another Birthday and I took my dear friend with me. New Orlean's was on her "Bucket List". She uses this term with me often and this is why I really wanted to incorporate it into the 7Gypsies printer tray.
Products used for this project are Maya Road Jonathan mini chipboard , Tim Holtz Patterned Paper,7gypsies embellishments as well as the 7gypsies printer tray. The beads from Bourbon Street, my room Key cut down for the picture of the Hotel Monteleone, buttons and Prima flowers. I stamped and heat embossed the large "Fleur dis Les" and the "Journey" . The old photos of New Orleans were post cards that I purchased from a antique mall, they date back to the early 1900's.
Hope you all enjoyed my project. I know that I really enjoyed making it and it could not have been done without the wonderful help of Helmar Adhesives!!
Always remember that you can click on the all the photos here on our blog to enlarge the photo for closer views.
Sincerely,
