I don't know about you, but in the summer there is so much to do that sometimes scrapping takes a back seat. We're all enjoying vacations and taking photos, and when faced with the daunting task of scrapping them all it can seem overwhelming. I've found that lately, keeping my layouts more simple helps me to get them done.
Not EVERY page has to be an elaborate masterpiece. What a revelation!
What is it that you want to draw attention to? It's your photo, right? Don't get me wrong, I love an elaborate "work of art" as much as the next girl, but there IS something to be said for a neat, liner page. I find that keeping it simple really helps breakthrough the "scrappers block".....and getting pages done is what it's all about.
Of course, Helmar is my go to adhesive no matter what I'm doing. For this layout featuring Helmar Preferred Partner Cosmo Cricket I used my Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner.
I covered my Maya Road chipboard with Clearsnap ink, the embossed them with PK Glitz Powder Keg Embossing Powders. Simple, yet effective.
So the next time you have scrappers block, remember to "KISS" ;)
Until next time,
Marci
