~Cosmo Cricket & Helmar make me smile~

Pinky here with another project using Cosmo Cricket.

I love how Helmar works with almost any medium including acrylic, they make a glue for anything I need from paper to metal and everything in between.

I made this album from acrylic sheets and the amazing Cosmo Cricket Delovely line.

When I was done I wanted to be sure to have something to protect it from the wear and tear a new family might put on it, so I made a pocket using my Purple Cows Laminator. Now a new mom *or dad* can slip it into the diaper bag and brag away all year long!

Well Fancy That!

Hello there!  Laura here again and I just have to tell you I love creating!  I especially love creating when the products are gorgeous and when I have Helmar Adhesives to use for all my crafting needs!  It's not a lot of fun to create things like ribbon flowers or use embellishments on your projects if they don't adhere like you want them to right?  But I know that with Helmar, I have no worries!

Here is a layout I created using our preferred partners Fancy Pants Designs and My Stamp Box. 

 

To give my stamped image the much needed dimension to be able to adhere the stick pin behind it I grabbed my favorite tube of Liquid Scrap Dots.  It's almost like a two in one adhesive because it's thick enough to use to hold your stick pin in place and it adheres the embellishment to your project!

And to make sure that ribbon flower stayed put I grabbed my bottle of Premium Craft Glue.

Cosmo Cards

Hey there everyone!! It's Tanisha here and I'm starting off a fun-filled week of posts featuring Cosmo Cricket!!   Who doesn't love Cosmo Cricket, right?  They carry the most fun products!

I used the Joy Ride collection, glitter from PK Glitz, Clearsnap chalk ink, along with Helmar Premium Craft Glue, Zapdots, Gemstone Glue, and Fray Stoppa to create the following 2 cards.

I covered the "HI" sentiment and edges on the "happy day" sentiment with gemstone glue, then coated with glitter to make them pop.  I used zapdots to adhere the sentiments to the cards, Premium craft glue to adhere the ribbon and patterned paper, and Fray stoppa on the edges of the ribbon.

Fast and Fabulous with Fancy Pants and Helmar

Hello everyone!

Has your summer been as insanely busy as mine has? Not had enough time to scrap like you want to? Well, I have the solution for you! Fancy Pants collection packs and Helmar! What a fabulous pair!!!

I received the Fancy Pants "ABOUT A GIRL" collection pack, and the minute I opened it up, the inspiration was overflowing! Die cuts, double sided papers, glitter cuts, rubons, alpha's!!! I had SO many ideas... so many things i could do with it!!! Then life happened... kids... meals, housework... you know how it goes! And my scrapping time was almost gone! So I decided to grab the collection, my Helmar favorites and see what I could do in a short time frame. WOW! With products like THAT I could do SO much!! Here is what I came up with in a half hour!!!

 

For this page I used my Helmar Premium Craft Glue for almost everything! I used some 1/2 inch black round zap dots to pop up the heart and glitter cut... as well as the star to the left of the photo. Then I used my Quick-fix adhesive runner for my journaling strips!

This page was so fast! The circles were on the paper... so I added some horizontal strips...matted my photo on one of the sticker diecuts and added a few K&CO flowers to the page. The die cut heart was placed over the glittercut and added to the page with zapdots. I punched a few butterflies and added some glitter to them. Then the journaling. To finish it off, I added a strip of paper to the top of the page with a punched edge and voila! We're done!!

 

So now I challenge YOU,... grab your favorite Helmar Adhesives and a Fancy Pants collection and see what YOU can create in a 1/2 hr! You just might surprise yourself!!

Some Summer fun

Happy Thursday to you all. This week I had some fun playing with Fancy Pants Design products. I'm using the Rusted Sun line for this card. I really wanted to have some fun with my card and this is what I came up with. I incorporated a stamp by My Stamp Box that would normally be used for a Christmas card or layout and used it for the summery card. I cut out the center of the card and used a piece of cardboard that I covered with a different piece of paper on the inside of the card to pop through my circle that I cut out on the front of the card. All of the patterned paper was attached to my card using Helmar USA Quick Fix adhesive runner. I then glued down the ribbon with my Helmar USA 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.  The Prima flowers were also attached using the Helmar USA 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. This is the most powerful adhesive I have ever used. When you attached something with it you can be sure it will stay put and as far as I'm concerned that is one of the most important things. My Alphabet stickers are from Cosmo Cricket  and October Afternoon.

One of my favorite things to do is to create a layout using Rub-ons so for this layout I also used the Fancy Pants Design Rusted Sun line. For the sun I used a circle punch and popped it up using my Helmar USA Zap Dots for a dimensional look. Other Helmar USA  products used on this layout are the Helmar USA Quick Fix Adhesive Runner and the Helmar USA 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to attach the ribbon.

I Come Home in the Morning Light

Every once in a while, a girl has just gotta get a little crazy. Head out on the town with your BFF's and paint that town red... or awesome shades of pink, blue and green.

Fancy Pants Designs has the PERFECT answer to create projects filled with that vibe. The About a Girl collection, is chalk full of pretty polka dots, whimsical flowers and wonderful colors. As soon as I took this stuff outta the bag, I was flooded with inspiration. What can I say... I'm a girly girl!!!

The patterns alone are simply FANFLIPPINTASTIC. Anything with flourishes and distress are a hit in my books. I used the Glitter Cuts acrylic pieces from the collection, to give that added bit of sparkle and jazzed it up just that one step further, by adding some bling and a purdy handmade flower. Glitter Cuts and V2 Vellum Adhesive....all at once everyone.... "HEAVEN!!!!!!!"

The color palette does take me back to the 80's. Fluorescent pinks, scrunchies, and Peter Pan Getaway boots. Not to mention those wonderful HOOOOOOOOOP earrings and strand upon strand of pearls. I loved being an 80's chick. And yes I did have BIG HAIR. But heck, for anyone that has met me, I still do hahahaha

All of the dimension on this card, is created using the Liquid Scrap dots from Helmar. Gems are adhered using the Gemstone Adhesive and all of the paper had a good helping of 450 Quick Dry Adhesive applied.Stop on by my blog for another Fancy Pants/Helmar project

Just Beachy

Happy Tuesday! Aymee, aka Southernbellescrapper, here on this beautiful Tuesday to share a layout with you that I have created using some of my favorite Helmar Adhesives and products from this week's preferred vendors....My Stamp Box and Fancy Pants Designs. For this layout, I used Helmar 'V2' Vellum Adhesive, Helmar Zap Dots, Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, and the Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. All paper and embellishments, with the exception of the alphabet stickers and rhinestones are from Fancy Pants Designs. I used a stamp from the My Stamp Box set to stamp onto the background of my page.

Here is my layout...."Just Beachy." I began by stamping the green circles (from My Stamp Box) onto my background using green craft paint. Next, I took the clear 'sun' and 'flower' embellishments from Fancy Pants Designs and sprayed the back with the Helmar 'V2' Vellum Adhesive. After the adhesive had set for 5 minutes, I adhered these onto some white cardstock. I then embellished them a tad with rhinestones and used Helmar Zap Dots to pop them up on my page. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere my ball fringe. Also, I used the Purple Cows Freestyle Mouse to cut my striped paper into a shape resembling a 'wave.'

 I hope you have enjoyed this project. It was so much fun working with the products from Fancy Pants Designs and My Stamp Box. They worked great with my Helmar Adhesives!

CHA craziness...

kept me from posting my Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker layout last week.  I thought I brought it with me on disk to edit and post while there, but I managed to leave this disc at home.  Thankfully, I am now home, and can share it with you.  :)  So here it is...

 

I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere everything.  I also used Helmar Acrylic Sealer on my chipboard letters.  The papers are from Nikki's "Bella Blue and Oscar Too" line...which are doggy related but you can see that I didn't use them for that at all.  :)  Here are some close up's:
