Happiness Travel Box with Book inside was created Using Maya Road Board Book and Helmar Adhesive Products.
The box is covered with brown paper and the all of the decorations are added to the exterior of the box. For the front panel I collaged pieces of papers on to a piece of fabric. To adhere them to the fabric I used Helmar Acid Free Glue thinned down with just a little water. Brush the glue over the tops of your paper strips and adhere them to the fabric. Once the paper collage has dried I added molding paste pressed thru a mesh screen, and let this completely dry. I then added a wash of green and blued Deco Art Paints over the top to adjust the color of the molding paste.
The elements on the front of the box are attached with Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and Helmar Zap Dots.
The intererior of the Maya Road book is chip board and is decorated with scrapbook paper form several preferrred partners. I mixed the to collections from the Pink Paislee line through out the book.
The elements on the pages are attached with Helmar Premium Craft Glue and Halmar Zap Dots. I have added additional Journaling pages for my nicece to record her trip details and stories,
This is a great project to work on when you only have small blocks of time to accomplish things.I hope this inspires you to create something.
