Hi Helmar fans... I hope you all had a blast on the Helmar blog hop. I sure did! ...and that was my very first hop - YAY! ...and i just loved it too.
So today I want to show you how I used the "Helmars Decoupage" in a semi collage background. Along with "Helmars 450 Quick Dry", "Helmars Tape Runner" and "Zapdots"...
- To start with I have gather all my scrapping bits and bobs of what I am going to use.
- I have randomly place all my bits and bobs , just to give me an idea of where i would like to position everything.
- So move everything to the side and start by gluing all your scrap bits of pattern papers. Randomly of course. i am only doing one layer through the middle of the card stock. make sure you use the helmars decoupage on top of the pieces of papers as well. It acts also as a great sealer. Allow to dry.
- Once dry grab some white paint and a DRY paint brush. This technique is really awesome for toning down loud or lots of different pattern papers used together. This technique is called dry brushing. So all you do is add a little bit of paint to your brush and dry brush over your collage piece. Once you have the desired result allow to dry.
- the end result and also the finished layout.
Here's to - "Helmars 450 Quick Dry" and "Helmars Tape Runner" and My "Helmars Zapdots" for finishing this page off.
...thanks for popping by and i hope you enjoyed!
