And Happy New Years Eve to you all!!
Hi all, thanks for stoping in on New Years Eve 2010. 9 years ago today I married my husband Joe and though there are times that I would like to bust his behind, I'm thrilled that we are growing old together. He makes me laugh daily with his silly little jokes that I've heard OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. He has tons of silly little saying's that my friends and I call "Joe-ism's". We know most of them so well that we can all say them at the exact time that he would.
Isn't he a distinguished looking gentleman? Must be that sexy grey hair and as he would say.....He pay's extra for that. (as he shakes his hair back). Yes, that's is a "Joe-ism".
My girlfriend had given me several books to tear apart and use the covers from. One of the books was titled MEN- an owners manual. I have had so much fun with this book. You can see the title of one of the chapters behind our photo.
I used tons of embellishments on this layout so I needed a fabulous adhesive and one of my favorite's is the Helmar USA 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. I used this to put down everything except for my Maya Road chipboard alphabets. For them I sparayed them with some Tattered Angels glimmer mist and then turned them over and sprayed the back side with my Helmar USA V2 Vellum Adhesive spray.
Behind the "you and me" sticker I used my Helmar USA Zapdots to give it a dimensional look. The flower was created using ribbon and Helmar USA 450 quick Dry Adhesive. You can find a tuturial on my blog HERE on how they are made.
I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday. I will be celebrating 9 wonderful years with my hubby and friends.
Happy creating!
