I'm addicted to Helmar's 2-step crackle medium. (Robert Palmer is probley rolling in his grave) Oh yeah...wanna join me?  We could start a self help group....but alas I don't really  want the help.  This stuff is too cool! Today's project is a "trinket" box and card gift set.   I painted my surface white ..the chipboard box you see.. and than did the crackle process.  I than added some brown shoe polish for aging.  LOVED the look of the creamy white with brown crackling.  I took some close ups to show you the effect.  With this old fashion look I knew I wanted to use the ever lovely Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden collection.  For my adhesive I used Helmar's 450 quick dry.    So hope I might have tempted you to crackle something!  Once you start you wont stop!  cherry
