Hello Everyone,
Michelle here.
I have been madly scrapping away over the past few weeks that my poor scrap room looked like a bomb had gone off in it. I have bottles of Helmar adhesive ALL over my desk at the moment.. I don't think I HAVEN'T used any of the products Helmar makes...lol..lol..
AND I had several layouts in various stages of completion all over it (about 7 at one time) and now that the back log of deadlines in coming to an end I have precut the next lot of layouts ready to go (another 8..lol..lol..) for next months deadlines. I like to stay on top of things with so much happening at the moment.
Anyway... all these layout required photos.. as some had been scrapped without the photo being printed but with on in mind... so I spent a whole day editing and playing around until I came across a photo of my younger two girls together.
Lately .. all I have heard from the two of them is that they are best friends.. yeah.. I hear you.. How cute hey!!! They putter around playing "Mum and Daughter"... it is so funny to hear them chattering away.
So I just had to scrapbook about their relationship as it is now.. down the track I am sure they will probably want to pull each other hair out and go nuts at each other..
but this is one for now..

I had so much fun playing around with an old cardboard box for this one. I have never .. yes.. I said NEVER.. tried that before.. But with a little help from my Helmar products everything is stuck so well.
By pulling some of the box apart it made a surface that was a little unstable to adhere things to.
However Helmar 450 came to the rescue. It meant that the card stock that I had embossed stuck without buckling and created a nice base to work on.
I love my Helmar Tape Runner for adhering layers of paper down. I am a bit of a more is more person when it comes to adhesives.. I tend to put LOTS of adhesive on everything so it will NEVER come off.
However with the Helmar Tape Runner this isn't necessary.. once it is one it stays put nicely!
I was also able to create some great dimension using my favourite Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots too for the embellishment cluster. I so want shares in this products for sure.. I am guilty of having 10 of these tubes in my Helmar adhesive trolley... YES you heard me right.. 10.. I would HATE to run out when I need it.
Well.. better get back to the scrapping grind stone... my mojo is flowing Helmar so I had better get sticking.

Hello Helmar Fans!
A few weeks ago I posted a project where I recovered my extreme coupon binder. Today, I am showing you a project that is an extension of this one.
This is my coupon cabinet. I bought this at a garage sale for $15 can you believe it? I love this small cabinet to contain all my coupon goodies. Inside one of the doors it had a white board that had marker on it that would not come off! So I decided to recover the white board... of course!
I was so excited to use the new Maya Road Cloth Dress Form, and of course I just love the Helmar Crackle over the template, from The Crafter's Workshop, I used to make the center design. Not to mention, I was so excited to create a paper dress after seeing them at the winter CHA. I just wish this one was bigger so I could make it more detailed.
Here is the before of the cabinet...
I took off the stickers with the Helmar Adhesive Remover (test this in a hidden area to make sure it is good for the surface you will be using it on), cleaned it up and spot stained the scratches.
Here is how I recovered this door. First I lightly sanded the white board and cleaned it with water and a towel. Once it was dried I began the adhering process, with Helmar Craft Glue because it works great on metal (that is what a white board is made up of). Be careful, this is a solvent glue and sometimes can damage surfaces like the finished wood! If you are concerned please test it in a small area you don't normaly see. Or be very careful with how thick you put it on this project and where you put it.
Putting several strips of Helmar Craft Glue up and down the length of the paper then fallowing it quickly with the next step before the glue dried.
Using a Pampered Chef pan scraper (I have a few of these in my scraproom) I smoothed out the glue under the paper. Then repeated these two steps until the pages were fully adhered to the white board.
After embellishing the background and using stickers for my quote, I created a fun paper dress on the Maya Road Dress Form. I just love how it turned out. I love it so much I will probably make a larger more detailed one. I just fell in love with this idea from CHA! In this photo you can see a bit of the layers of crackle and the puff paint I used to add depth to the center design on the background.

Hi, Helmar Fans!
I bought this frame eons ago from a $1 bin at some big box place. LOL You know what I'm talking about. I pick these up all the time thinking oooh, this will be fun to decorate and then it sits forever....well, NOT ANYMORE!!! Ever since being introduced to Helmar Acid Free Glue a few months ago, I have been altering everything I can get my hands on!! And picking up even more that sit in my closet just waiting with anticipation.
So, today I decided to work on this frame for my hubby. He's always asking for frames of the kids to take to work and I realized he didn't have one of Trey yet. I know, shame on me! So, I added my first layer of October Afternoon paper using Helmar Acid Free Glue. Then came the fun part! I really want to make this dirty little vintage frame for our son. So, I added a layer of gesso around the edges and alsosome tea dye distress ink. Then using walnut stain, I used Splotchy stamps by The Greeting Farm to strategically add those blots of ink - LOVE the effect. I also recently "aquired" a warehouse box from Maya Road and got these adorably cute chipboard clothing and upon further investigation saw these cute little onesies and overalls in the package that I literally squealed as I knew I was going to use them on the frame. I used Helmar Acid Free Glue again to adhere the pattern paper on the chipboard pieces. This was so fun, fast & easy. I hope it's not too cutesy for my hubby to have at work. If it is, oh well, I'll keep it cuz I love it!!!
I almost forget my favorite part! I added some Helmar Crackle Medium in a few spots around the corners and edges of the frame. While it was still cracking, I rubbed in some tea dye distress ink, it was about an hour after I added step 2 so it was pretty dry but not the full overnight stated in the instructions. Sometimes - a lot of times - I'm a bit impatient! haha But I love the effect. Here are a couple close ups. I also used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots *to adhere the bottlecap* and Helmar Zap Dots for embellishments on the frame.

Hi All. Alicia here. I thought I might share my sketch layout with you in a little more detail and remind you that you still have time to get an entry in for this month's prize pack. This month's "Get Your Glue On" challenge is a sketch contest courtesy of Design Team member Lydell, and was a really interesting sketch to work with.
For this one I decided to make use of the patterned paper to make my own embellishments and to use these as a focus rather than blocks of patterned paper. Of course I also created lots of dimension. I used Helmar quick fix tape runner for the main patterned piece, and Helmar 450 quick dry adheisive to securely adhere the embellishments onto the page. For dimension I used Helmar Liquid Scrap dots for a little extra lift.
I started with a simple strip which I pushed off a little to the side. I added some die cut sticker strips and then went to town with handmade flowers and butterflies.

Helmar Ambassador Aymee Gandy is in the Helmar House today!!!
Hello my fellow Helmar fanatics! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Helmar Ambassador, Aymee Gandy, here with you on this beautiful day to share a little project I created using a few of my favorite Helmar Adhesives. It's so great to be back sharing a scrappy project with you guys! I have just been in awe of all of the amazingly crafty projects by the design team here lately! You girls are on a roll! Keep up the great work!
Now, on to the scrappyness! I don't know about you guys, but I love creating my own art to display in my scrapbooking studio. I really enjoy that extra personal touch. Well, I was sitting around the other day and noticed how lonely my sewing table looked in my room. So I decided to alter up a frame to put on my sewing desk to add a bit of pizazz to the area. I found a frame at Big Lots for $6! Since my room is decorated in hot pink and lime greens, I went with the pink frame. For my frame, I used the following Helmar Adhesives to pull it all together: Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner, Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, Helmar Zap Dots, and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. I could not of made this project without them! I do love my Helmar!
I began by adding some bold patterned paper from Die Cuts With A View to the inside of the frame where the photo would normally go. I adhered this using my Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. Next, I added some alphabet stickers from Momenta and a few butterflies. I attached my butterflies using my Liquid Scrap Dots. I then added a handmade flower to the lower left hand portion of the frame using my Liquid Scrap Dots and Zap Dots. The flower was cut out using my Cricut, Sure Cuts A Lot Software, and a SVG file I purchased online. I adhered my top flower to the base flower using 450 Quick Dry. I then added a little embellishment that looks like a spool of ribbon to the center of the flower. I used 450 Quick Dry to adhere this as well. Last, I used my Liquid Scrap Dots to add some decorative twine to the frame. Here is my finished project...'Sew Be It.'
Here is an up close view of my flower so you can see the detail. These patterned papers are from Die Cuts With A View and Jillibean Soup.
Now, I wanted to show you how I stacked several of the Zap Dots to give my flower added stability on the glass portion of my frame:
These alpha's provide some wonderful dimension as well. I also turned up the wings of my butterflies a bit.

I would like to Thank everyone who joined me Monday night LIVE on Helmar Ustream. I have every intention to come up with a fun and creative project well in advance of the show but lately we have been so busy in the office that 6:30 pm sneaks up on me and I have to creatively wing it on air! Such is the case on Monday night and we had a great time gluing by the seat of our pants. There were a lot of fun announcements and despite the fact Ustream was giving us technical issues we had a GREAT time! I am happy to say that the Altered Photo Box we started LIVE is done and yet again I love the finished project and I hope you do too!..........

Hey everyone!
I am back here with a project that I am REALLY proud of showcasing HELMAR products and the adorable "Spring Butterflies" set from Stamping Bella!
I have been wanting to decorate one of these photo trays for a while. I decided to do one for each of the kids and since my boys just got their cute little notebooks (you can see those HERE), I decided to start with the girls this time, specifically my little one, Ava. I cut some Basic Grey "Sweet Threads" paper just a shade under 4x6 and laid them out how I wanted to into the tray:
Then starting with each different piece, I created something different for each section. Using Acid Free Glue, I began to glue down some fun shaped elements for my first panel:
I attached the lace trim and cork using Helmar 450 Quick Dry, then added 4 dabs of Gemstone glue to get ready to adhere my buttons:
I have had this chipboard sentiment for a long time and just couldn't bring myself to use it until now- when I have truly found the perfect use for it. Describes how I feel about my Ava to a 'tee'. Here is the completed panel:
My next step was to take Helmar 450 Quick Dry and adhere these pretty diecut leaves. This is the PERFECT medium to use on something so delicate because it won't weigh the paper down and also is totally clear in case you run over, for instance the small stem. Love this stuff- adhered instantly to my paper panel and I was good to go:
After adhering the branch/leaf diecut, I cut out this beautiful rose from some Theresa Collins trim/ribbon pack and here is how gorgeous it is:
Time to add some Liquid Scrap Dots to my flowers here- and wait until you see how they really pop on the next panel:
I love working with this stuff- you can really just keep adding if you want to, to create even more dimension. I love that its so easy and contained to work with too!
LOVE the dimension of these flowers!
Last but not least, I added a bit of ribbon to the 1st panel and then cut out two Spring Butterflies, adhered them with 1/4" white zap dots, and then adhered butterflies from the Martha Stewart punch and added a few rhinestones to them for that extra 'pop'! LOVE them! The sentiment is by another preferred partner, Unity Stamp Co.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm doing sneeky peeks this week for My Creative Time stamps. Emma's new stamps will be released this Friday and I'm excited to show them off! I also used my favorite adhesives and wanted to show you the dimension I got using Helmar's ZapDots (which I love!!)
My mom has been invited to a baby shower this weekend and needed a card so this was like killing two birds with one stone! For my card, I used my cricut and the cricut cartridge, New Arrival for the stork and the baby. I also used a Fiskars stamp set for the clouds. I wanted to give the stork and the baby some dimension so I added Helmar's Black Zapdots. Here is a sideview of my card...
Here's another picture even closer up to show you the dimension that the Zapdots added...
Pretty cool huh? I love Zapdots!! I personally think Helmar's are the best! I also used (hands down) the best adhesive, Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue all my pieces and adhere the card to the card base. Well, that's all for me today! Hi there Helmar Fans.....it's Lydell again today.
I thought I would share My LO for this months Helmar "Get your Glue on" Challenge and remind you there are a few days left, (9 days 7 hrs and 37m right at this moment!!!!) so if you have not had the opportunity to do the Challenge sketch, now is your chance!

I enjoyed doing this one. I wanted to make some little flowers and cover the die cut cogs.
So I used some Maya road trim and simply rolled it loosely gluing with Helmar 450 Quickdry to a small 1 inch punched circle from scrap cardstock to hold its form. I covered- freehand cut, chipboard leaves with some Tim Holtz text tape and glued them together. They are really cute!
Once they are dry you just trim away the excess cardstock from the punched circle holding the flower together and glue them in place....
I coated the cogs in gesso then Shimmerz Blingz (Poinsetta Pink) and a layer or two of Helmar Acrylic Sealer, which I purposely overheated with a heat gun, to get it to bubble up profusely and create a crispy, cracked and bubbled texture when it dried.
Helmar 450 Quickdry makes easy work of gluing fabric and lace trims to a page. It dries crear, does not warp the page and holds fabric securely (its even washable!!!)
I used Helmar Liquid scrap dots to glue on my title alphas and hold up the tiny tag in the image below Totally cool stuff!!!!
The background was smeared with impasto medium (texture paste) with a palette knife and spritzed with Licorice Vibez (Shimmerz)
