What a fantastic week this has been filled with Best Creation goodness and Helmar Adhesives. I couldn't sit back and not contribute for the Princess collection had me remembering a funny little picture we took of our daughter when she was 1 1/2. The colors in this collection from Best Creation was the perfect fit. Adding dimension to all that fussy cutting and here you have it. An ode to my sweet princess...vegetable and all

Five Fat Peas
A counting fingerplay especially
useful in the spring and summer.
Five fat peas in a pea pod pressed
(children hold hand in a fist)
One grew, two grew, so did all the rest.
(put thumb and fingers up one by one)
They grew and grew
(raise hand in the air very slowly)
And did not stop,
Until one day
The pod went POP!
