Hello Everyone
Hope everyone is healthy, happy and enjoying life. I went away for a HUGE retreat two weeks ago called "Camp Mojo" (how cool is that name) - where 80 women from all over Australia gethered together for Four awesome days/nights together. I met so many people that I only knew from Face Book and made lots of new Friends as well (dont know how I am so shy LOL - people that know me will be snickering right now) .......
While there I had all of my HELMAR glues with me (and yes they were NO problem in my suitcase in a plane for 6 hours) and all of the new Dusty Attic chipboard as well - one of the new items is a quote saying "Enjoy the moments that make you Smile" well as soon as I saw that I knew I had the PERFECT photo for that quote. This is a photo of my oldest son Michael and his beautiful girlfiend Nicola -They are all dressed up for Nicola's ball - I love the way she is looking so lovingly at him and that beautiful smile is so contagious !
I have used Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die to make the flowers - spritzed them with water and crumpled them then layered them and adhered them together with Helmar 450 quick dry glue. I am so glad I took all of my Helmar adhesives with me because I used heaps of different ones to complete the canvas
I have used the Helmar V2 Vellum Spray for the quote and that beautiful floral circular lazer cut - I love using the Vellum spray because it goes all over the pieces and those fine swirls as well without glue oozzing out of the sides of your work.
Then to adhere all of those flowers down the bottom I have used Helmar 450 Quick Dry as well as Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to make them different levels.
The photo and the ribbon around the edge of the circle canvas I have used Helmar Tape Runner and the Dream Pebble and blings I have used the Helmar Gemstone Glue
Thanks for looking ladies and see you again soon
