Some days, are there any sweeter words? Ha! Just kidding, but I do have a fun little project today that you will hopefully like!
Tracy and I keep saying that when we get to see each other again it will be over a nice cup of tea or glass of wine. I adore our Helmar, USA President and let me tell ya, EITHER will be fine.with.me. :)
What's more? With the holidays coming up (and right around the corner, I may add!), sometimes we need a quick hostess gift in a pinch and I think I have just the thing! I created a fun, frilly, and affordable project making my own wine label and matching card. Check it out:
I used some Acid Free glue after choosing some pretty, glitter papers for the base of my label. With a wine bottle or anything that is going to go around something, I had to make sure that I glued down all the way to the corners. After the label was secure, I used some Helmar 450 Quick Dry to glue down my flower. I love that I had a brad on hand that was a clock face! Perfect for Wine "time" :)
After I glued down my label onto the bottle using Acid Free Glue, I took more 450 Quick Dry and went around the top of the label as shown here:
I used some beautiful flower trim to finish off the bottle. LOVE it! Here's a closeup of how it all turned out:
And what gift would be complete without a card? I love having the ACID FREE Glue for this card because tape runners don't always hold up on super-glittery paper such as the one I used. Here's the card:
Well, my friends, I'm so glad you could join me today for a fun Helmar project! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
xoxo,
Jess :)
