That title reminds me of a funny story~my granddaughter recieved a doll from my mom, for Christmas a couple of years ago. I asked her what the dolls name was and she said ~"anecklace" and then I said~you mean "Alexis" and she said back~that's what I said!!! Ha,ha~little stinker!!! OK here we go ~
This is a very cool project and it is made so easy with the Helmar Gemstone Glue!! So perfect for this project. All of the items you see have been collected up over time from my junk'n trips!! The key is brass and is rather large. I'm thinking it was an hotel room key. It has big numbers on the back of the key. The chain was found at an antique store and I'm using it just as I bought it. I thought it was so unique! It is brass also. The buttons came from my stash and I used the smallest and worn ones I had.
As I stated before the key is brass so when I covered the top of the key with the Hemar Gemstone Glue it turned green~no worries it dried clear!!!! Let it set for a couple of hours to get good and hard.
When it is dry you can attach the rest of your charms, ribbon or other!
The little rose type embellishment on the key is an actual button~I think it is so lovely!!!!
And I must say~the fabulous Porcelain hand came from Jenni Bowlin Studios!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! See ya soon! by: C. Mercer
