If you are anything like me, nothing upsets me more than seeing something that I put so much work into being set aside or even binned!! This year I set myself the task of making some re-useable gift tags.
How, you may ask?
Well I find myself thinking about my hobby everywhere I go, and I came across some Christmas Wine Charms and funky Christmas Decorations and this is what I came up with.
I used kraft glassine for this tag. I scrunched it and stamped it. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to stick the Jingle Bells chipboard onto the tag. You can re-use the wine charm.
This tag has been stamped and glittered. The word Joy at the top of the tag is a Christmas Decoration.
The little Gingerbread man on this tag was painted and I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to give some dimension.
This tag has a Chistmas Decoration attached and I also added a little charm with the word "Believe" to it.
I misted onto this tag and then glitted. I used Helmar Acid Free Glue with a small paintbrush to add the glitter. The Wine Charm can be re-used.
I never venture away from my love of the scrapbook layout, but it really was heaps of fun to try something new and to know that I have a gift tag that keeps on giving.
So from me to you, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas filled with laughter, friends, family and love. And if you are lucky enough some creative time to keep you sane!
