Hi Helmar fans!!! Looking forward to sharing with you what I have been up to. It seems like it has been forever~so let me start by saying I came up on this purely by accident but once I got my hands on it, it was mine.
This is re-do project. I covered the back panel with Jenni Bowlin's Haven line and used Helmar's Decoupage as the adhesieve. I only adhered the decoupage to the back of the papers and then placed them on the back panel. The edges are inked also.
The ribbon is by May Arts. Other products used are Martha Stewart, Canvas Corp, Prima and bakers twine. The cluster at the bottom is glued on with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry. The frame, in the front, is also glued on with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry. One awesome glue that 450 is!!!!
This was a really fun project and the shabby chic feel is just what I had hoped would take shape~sometimes you don't get the look that is in your mind:)!!! When it was done I splattered the front with black acrylic paint. I thin out the paint with water and use a toothbrush to splat. My thumb doesn't look so great when I'm done but the paint is where I want it to go.
The quote is~She only FLEW when no one could see. The stamp is by Wendy Vecchi.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in today!!!! See ya soon~
