I'v been into making mini-books lately, not sure why but I think because when you have an adhesive product that works that takes a lot of the stress off and makes creating fun! Helmar adhesive products do just that...oh yeah!
My 1st mini-book utilizes several different adhesives to hold hold several different items. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to hold brass findings and chipboard, Premium Craft Glue to hold transparent embellishments and paper and finally Professional Acid Free Glue to hold the inside papers and alphabets.The cover is a Zutter chipboard cover that was painted, stamped and embossed before applying the various components. This book will be utilized for documenting & keeping observations of life in.
The next mini book I created was a cover for an art journal. Again the same Helmar adhesives were used {I know I sound like a broken record} to complete the cover. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere the chipboard butterflies, flowers and leaf ribbon from May Arts, Premium Craft Glue to adhere the burlap from Canvas Corp and the gems from Dew Drop. Finally Professional Acid Free Glue to adhere the layers of Basic Grey and Strathmore watercolor papers and title.
I can't imagine not having Helmar adhesives to create with. I hope you will try making your next mini-book using these adhesives and then let me know what you think ;)
