Journey Canvas

Hello there! It's Carolyn here to share a little desk decor item I made with the help of some of my favorite Helmar products:

I found the itty bitty canvas (3 x 3) at Jo Anne's and I couldn't resist buying some. At about the same time I received a stamp order I had placed and was a little disappointed that the sentiment I purchased for a larger canvas was so small. But...it was PERFECT for this mini!

I covered the canvas with some paints (ivory, light blue, black) and added some mustard reinker around the edges. After the paint dried, I added some rub ons and stamped the sentiment using Staz On ink.

I used Helmar Decoupage and Craft paste to add the piece of paper that I stamped the word "journey" on. After applying the rub ons, I added a thin layer of the paste over to ensure that they would stay.

As a final touch, I added a fabulous FabScraps Key using Helmar 450 Quick Dry. I tied a bit of May Arts string around the edge of the key.
