Hi Helmar Fans!
I became quite obsessed with the smashing phenomena recently but I realized while I was COLLECTING books, I wasn't really USING them....so I finally christened the baby book. I plan to use this book to smash anything about my kiddos. I've got plenty of baby pictures to use but I'm not going to limit it to just that.
I flipped open the book and decided to start on that page and chose a picture to smash about. Then I grabbed some supplies including: Unity Stamp Co. (Sketchy Little Boy set), Distress Markers, Watercolor paper, Helmar Premium Craft Glue, and Helmar Zap Dots. I chose a picture of my son to go with our masculine theme this week!
Using Helmar Tape Runner, I adhered the picture to a white cardstock to create a mat for it.
For all the other papers, I used Helmar Premium Craft Glue to adhere them to the page. I highly recommend Premium Craft Glue for all your paper to paper glue needs! It doesn't warp, never bubbles and like all Helmar products is Acid Free so completely safe for preserving all those precious memories.
The inspiration for this page came from this train in the Sketchy Little Boy stamp set by Unity Stamp Co. I am in LOVE with the images in this set because they are sized perfectly for coloring! My son is ALL about trains - actually he's all about ANYTHING that goes Zoom. haha
I used Helmar Zap Dots to pop up the train a bit from the page.
I added a bit of journaling around the picture and the page needed some more texture so I stamped randomly with a great ink splotch stamp from The Greeting Farm.
So, that's all for me today! I hope you have enjoyed our masculine theme this week. I know all of the projects were just amazing from everyone. Thanks for stopping by and get your glue on this weekend!
