Today is a very special day here on the Helmar Blog. We have been working hard to improve what we offer people and how we share our love of Helmar products. Today I am very proud to introduce you to a member of our team that will now be coordinating our Helmar Educator Program. The team will be comprized of educators that will be creating make and takes, doing demos and classes in store. They will also be sharing live USTREAM classes for all of you to learn more about how Helmar adhesives work.
I am over the moon excited to introduce you to the Education Coordinator for Helmar, Cheryl Boglioli!!! Let's get to know this amazing teacher a little better
Cheryl Boglioli is a
Florida native, wife to Louis, and mother of one amazing daughter, Sage.
She has been an artist and crafter all her life and remembers
always doodling sketches and trying to draw things as a child.
Cheryl found inspiration in some canvases that were painted by her
father. She vividly remembers a captivating painting of an Everglades
scene overlooking Lake Okeechobee. He never shared his art with
anyone and, unfortunately, didn’t even display his paintings at home.
Cheryl took art classes in high school and then studied Graphic Design at the
Florida School of Commercial Art in Tampa, Florida and later earned a degree in
Business Management at Indian River State College.
Though she had contact with some vendors from the industry, and used crafting
projects as object lessons, she wasn’t interested in scrapbooking until she
attended a team building retreat and was ‘forced’ to participate in a
creative paper-piecing group therapy session. She was hooked.
Cheryl started creating basic layouts and cards and quickly found
that she loved experimenting with different mediums.
Cheryl is now an avid paper crafter, mixed media artist, and educator in the
Craft and Hobby Industry. She loves to stay on the cutting edge of new
products, techniques, and technology as it pertains to the crafting industry
and has spent the last few years creating an artistic resume. She has
served on various other design teams and became a full-time designer achieving
CHA Designer Member status in 2011. She has been traveling, teaching
workshops at local scrapbook stores/events, and having a blast making new
friends.
Cheryl is a recognized educator for various Industry manufacturers. She
is a certified Tattered Angels Educator, a certified Zutter Instructor, and an
endorsed Basically Bare educator.
Cheryl has been an active Design Team Member for Helmar since November 2011 and
has worked extensively with Helmar adhesives. In her workshops, she has
been able to teach how different adhesives serve different purposes and has
promoted how well Helmar works in her mixed media projects. With that
passion to share with others, Cheryl is now the Education Coordinator for our
new Helmar Certified Education Team.
Please take a moment and Welcome Cheryl as our new Education Coordinator. Make sure you come back tomorrow for an introduction to our Education Team members and some SUPER FUN NEWS!!!
until next time
