I have been having so much fun pulling out my apple picking pictures from last year and the year before and scrapping them before we head out this year. That is usually how it is before we come to a new season I like to reflect on past years and see what memories I want to recreate... what I love the most about that season. Summer is coming to an end and fall is fast approaching and for us that means so many wonderful things, but apple picking is one thing that falls at the very top of the to-do memory making list!
I started my page out with a simple design, taking one base pattern at the bottom third of my page, then adding squares and little tags and cut out bits overlapping in a pattern, stitching with black thread as I went. Then, I added a photo....
Next I added a title with Helmar Craft Glue and stitched it on...
Lastly, I pulled out the Scrap Dots Liquid Adhesive and added a POP with a tab at the top of my photo.... it is a perfect adhesive when you want a pop and have different layers because it adapts to what you gently push it onto.
I let it set overnight, then added some journaling and mist, too. Then, I left it on my desk to cure the scrap dot over night.
Now I just cannot wait to go apple picking with my family!
