Hello everyone! I'm back with a project created with 7 Dots Studio.
7 Dots Studio is a paperline that is created in Poland. The papers are of the highest quality and heavy in weight so they work perfectly in all tupes of mixed media/paper arts. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with these papers and Helmar adhesives to show you how divine they are.
I chose to work with the HOPEFULLY line because the colors are so spring-like and I think many of us are ready to get this crazy {weather} winter over. I used HELMAR Acid Free Professional Glue for paper to paper and 450 Quick Dry for the paper rosettes and embellishments.
Using Ranger Inkessentials Manilla Shipping tags #10 as my base I embossed, distressed, punched, inked, stapled and glued to create several different layers to these tags. After die-cutting the rosettes with my Vagabond I assembled them with my 450 Quick Dry Adhesive...because of the fast drying time and the crazy way of putting them together I needed that quick dry time to keep me from getting frustrated and the rosettes from being thrown in the garbage:)
Make sure you stop back all week to see what the other Helmar designers have created with 7 Dots Studio. Have a creative day!

Hi, It's Erin with you today with a Love themed layout to tie in with our Helmar and Clearsnap collaboration week.
It's taken me a year now to really embrace these blurry pictures. I always seem to reach for the "good" photos in my collection first, thinking I'll come back to the imperfect ones later. I guess that's true, because sometimes a photo is just too important to overlook, despite it's technical challenges. For me, there are several reasons that I needed to scrap these:
I began the layout by first inking my photos with some black Colorbox Cats Eye Pigment Inkpad, Then I set forth to create the background paper.
I used two different Jumbo Rollagraph Design Wheels and handle to make this. The Archival Dye Cartridges that fit the handle are loads of fun to use, as you get a consistant never ending supply of ink on the stamp. I just rolled randomly over the page until I was ready to switch to a more graduated shade of ink. That's when I released the contact of the roller with the ( black) Dye Cartridge, and just used what was left on the roller. Then I filled in areas with some colour by hand applying some Colorbox Fluid Chalk Inks ( Warm Red and Creamy Brown) to the rollers and then to the page. Further shading is achieved by lightly applying ink directly to the page in areas using the Creamy Brown Chalk Ink pad.
I assembled the papers and photos using Helmar's Professional Acid Free Glue. Once the borders were dry, I was able to easily add stitching without worrying about gumming up my sewing machine.Because I found the title letters too light in colour, I swapped out Archival Dye Cartridges for a turquoise, and rolled right over my letters to give them interest. Not a perfect application, but this whole page is about going with the flow.
For really tricky embellishments like the canvas butterfly, and this funky wire heart, Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Glue is amazing. I love how I was able to apply it to the irregular open back of the heart, and it doesn't even show.
So remember, scrapbooking is much like love- if something ( or someone) is really worth it, you've got to embrace the good and the bad, and just learn to go with the flow.

Hello Helmar fans! JJ here today, to share with you a couple of cards I made using ColorBox Molding Mats by Clearsnap. (The first card is based on this month's Sketch Challenge)
To create the 'broken tile' on this card, I started with Crayola Model Magic. Yup - the same stuff your kids play with!
I rolled it out with a brayer first. Then I inked up the Molding Mats with ColorBox Chalk ink to act as a mold-release, and smooshed it into the clay. Peel back carefully!
I trimmed the clay to the shape I wanted, and let it dry. Then I highlighted the 'tile' with more Colorbox chalk ink.
Now, this clay has a funny texture, so I didn't take any chances - I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to make sure it stayed put. (The papers were all adhered with Professional Acid Free Glue)
The tiles on this card were made in the same way.
I added Zap Dots behind the first layer of paper, to give it a little extra lift:
I can see me using these Molding Mats again - they were a lot of fun to experiment with, and it would make a fun project with my kids. Of course, Helmar will be there to hold together our experiments!

Hello! It's Amy, one of Helmar's certified educators, and I am so excited to share my first altered paintbrush with you today, during our fun swap with Clearsnap! I recently signed up to participate in a really fun swap between altered artists, and we are using paintbrushes. I had never made an altered paintbrush before, so I decided to make this one as a trial run. I created this for my lovely artist friend to display in her store, and it's definitely as sparkly and unique as she is. I plan to teach how to create one of these at the store in a few months. I can't wait to share these techniques.
As you will see in the quick slideshow video, showing how I created my paintbrush, I used plenty of Helmar and Clearsnap...including lots of Fairy Dust Glitter in Sugar Shimmer! Everything is better with glitter in my world.
Most of the elements on the paintbrush, are adhered with Helmar Premium Craft Glue.I love to add plenty of details to each of my projects, and it is made easy with wonderful inks, and adhesives. Have a look at my process in a short video:
Thanks so much for joining me today! Visit me at my blog: www.sparklinggnome.com

As part of this week's partnership with ClearSnap I am so excited to have been given an opportunity to work with some of Donna Salazar's Mixed Media inx by ColorBox. I teamed that up with some of ColorBox's Fluid Chalk inkpads, to create these two projects!
The first of my projects is a canvas I created as a little inspiration to go up in my craft room. I just loved the colours and I used some yummy Helmar products to team up with these inks.
To create the background I used Helmar Decopage and Craft paste to adhere many layers onto the canvas. I used some paints and sprays and then teamed that up with the ColorBox inks and Unity Stamps to create a lovely mixed media effect. Putting the final elements together was a no brainer with my Helmar 450 Quick Dry and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots at hand to add flowers and alphas.
I hope you like my finished canvas, already hanging in my room.
My second project was created to take part in this month's Helmar Challenge.
These challenges are so much fun. I created this tag for someone very special to me and so I wanted to send her my own little piece of art. It came together in no time thanks to Lydell's awesome sketch (love those) Color Box Fluid Ink in Amber clay to add finish and dimension as well as Helmar Liquid Scrapdots and Helmar 450 Quick dry to adhere it all together!
If you haven't yet had a chance to play along, you have all month, so click on the challenge image above for all the details and get those entries in for a chance to win an awesome pack of Helmar goodies!!

Hi Helmar fans! It's Kate Vickers here. I would like to share this card that I made using Clearsnap products. They have very generously provided our Design Team with a selection of their products. I used their Cat's Eye Pigment Ink pads in Canary, Cranberry and Black.
I used Helmar Zap Dots and Scrap Dots to create the dimention on my card. Scrap Dots were used to pop up the feather and the 'Hello My Name Is...' stamped image. Zap Dots were used to pop up the flower. I love that you can easily control the height of items with Scrap Dots. It's one of my favourite products out there.
I used our sketch of the month to create my card. It's a great sketch. Upload your card using the Linky Tool on the right hand side of our Blog. You could win an awesome prize pack of Helmar goodies!
Supplies
I used Top Boss Embossing Powder by Clearsnap in white on this layout. I love using my favourite doily stamp with embossing powder to create a realistic looking doily. My favourite glue for gluing paper to paper is Helmar Premium Craft Glue -- that's what I have used here. For gluing ribbon to paper I like a stronger bond, so I use Helmar 450 Quick Dry.
Here is a close up of the doily stamp.

Thanks for dropping by today! I hope that you like my projects.
