Hi again, Beck here with a little share of a recycled project I created while travelling on our summer holidays. The project came about as we left on our holiday prior to Christmas, and therefore Santa did his visit to us in our Caravan this year. That and my love of Pringles chips!
The boys got some new colouring pencils and books perfect for those rainy or too hot to go outside days while away. Only being so young, the boxes don’t stay intact very long. When we finished a container of Pringles, I looked straight at it and thought… ‘this would be GREAT for the boys’ new pencils!'
So I got myself some Helmar 450 Quick Dry, and some Helmar Professional Acid free glue and got to work.
I first cut some paper to fit around the cylinder, and then adhered it with Helmar 450 Quick Dry. The overlap piece however was adhered with Helmar Professional Acid free glue as nothing beats this for a paper to paper bond.
I then cut out some different elements out of the patterned paper I wanted to use, and then adhered them down with the Helmar Professional Acid free glue, continuing that strong paper to paper bond.
I loved making this for one of my boys (I made a different one for my other son) and I love his reaction getting it even more.
