Hi everyone, Sandee here to share a secret love of mine come true ♥ I have a fascination for fairy gardens! Fairy gardening is gardening in miniature, adding tiny whimsical accessories and there are no rules, so you can create your fairy garden with anything.
One of my potter friends gave me some mushroom garden stakes that she considered to be a disaster, to me; they were the perfect compliment to my little ceramic fairy that I had painted with another friend. Then another day I found a broken final which I thought looked like the perfect gazing ball...see how things escalate? I seemed destined to create a fairy garden!
First I had some repairs to do, one mushroom cap had fallen off so I attached it back on with Helmar Silicone Adhesive & Sealant. Then I cut off the ends of the mushroom stems to make them as flat as I could and applied a healthy dollop of Helmar Silicone Adhesive & Sealant to the bottoms and braced them one by one onto a clay saucer. It took several days to achieve this because my mushrooms had heavy caps and each one had to be supported while the Silicone adhesive cured which takes about 24 hours.

most plastics, concrete, cement products
or zinc & copper metals.
Tip: When finished using Helmar Silicone Adhesive & Sealant always squeeze the product so that it protrudes just out of the top leaving no space for air then replace the cap. This will help stop the product curing and the tube from becoming hard.
I also used my 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere the beads onto the small stickpins and to create the sign.
I just love how it turned out, found objects, broken pieces and scrap booking supplies all turned into a magical world with the help of Helmar Silicone Adhesive & Sealant and Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
I just love her, laying on the bed of moss under the toadstools staring into the gazing ball...wonder what she is daydreaming of?
