Hi Helmar Fans! Cathy hosting the blog today and I have a summer card to share with you. I used Helmar's Zapdots in Black 1/4" Round and White 1/2" Square to add lots of dimension to my card. I love that the papers on these little dots of adhesive are not all staticy...I hate that when working with dimensional adhesive dots. Helmar Zapdots come in white, black, clear and square or round and a variety of sizes. I also used Helmar Quickfix adhesive runner for adhering just the basic layers of my card.
I started with cutting all the patterned paper pieces I needed with my Silhouette Cameo. I knew this design would be fun to layer and add lots of dimension too. There are over 20 pieces cut for this particular design.
After everything was cut, I inked all the edges with Distress Ink from Ranger. Inking the edges helps give the illusion of more dimension creating a shadow effect even on your layers that are flat. I adhered the card base with Helmar's Quickfix Adhesive Runner and then went to work on adding Zapdots to the backside of the elements that I wanted to be dimensional.
I added Zapdots to the palm tree, water and double layered the Zapdots of my flowers to give in more height!
Look at all that fun dimesnion. The card in a little of a 1/2 inch thick, all created with Helmar's Zapdots. They are quick n easy to work with and add so much to layered designs. This card wouldn't be near as much fun without the Zapdots!
