Happy Holidays everyone, Sandee here to share with you my latest obsession...
altering paint brushes!
I can't get enough of them as they are so much fun to make!!
So, have you been good or naughty?
First I begin by painting the bristles of the brush and the handle. Then for the Santa face I wrapped a piece of paper around the silver metal part of the brush and adhered it with my Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
Then I laid out all my embellishments to add to the brush to make Santa.
Most of the embellishments like my piece of handmade paper that I created using my Arnold Grummers Paper Making kit were adhered with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, but some of my embellishments got a special touch of Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots so they will stand up and away from the brush and that way add some dimension. I love how fast the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots hold yet remains flexible so I can adjust the height levels. This is amazing stuff!
And my favorite fun quote of all:
"Let's be naughty and save Santa the trip"
quote by Gary Allen
Merry Christmas!
This little Santa is just adorable!
