Happy New Year's Eve!
Today I have two creations to share with you that will be given to the host of our New Year's day dinner. I will start with showing you the greeting card I created to celebrate the new year.
To begin I start with pulling together all of the items I plan on using for my creation.
The Helmar supplies used for this card are: Zapdots 1/2" round white and I also used the Clear Zapdots 1/2" round and Helmar 450 Quick Dry adhesive. These are my general go to items when creating greeting cards.
Using my Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive I begin to add my layers of pattern paper.
Next let's begin to add dimension with layers. Using the clear 1/2" Zapdots for my first layer of pattern paper. The clear Zapdots are not as thick as the white, which is exactly what you want on this layer.
However, on your final pattern paper layer you want that pop. Using the Zapdots 1/2" white will give you that effect.
Continue by adding ribbon and floral embellishments using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to complete.
Next up is a canvas greeting
I used a small 5X7 and 2X2 sized canvas to create a display to be used on the food table.
To complete this entire design I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. After adhering and embellishing the basic background, I begin adding embellishments.
Here you will see how I use clear glass rocks to create my own embellishment. Using decorative paper, I adhered the glass rock using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and placing it on the feather design I want to show through the glass.
Continue to add layers of embellishments, including flowers and twine using Helmar 450 Quick dry adhesive.
To complete the design I will now add a bit of height to the sentiment and splatter more ink.
I wish you all a very safe and HAPPY NEW YEARS
