Good morning everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share an explosion box with you today.
This box can hold so many treasures from candies to candles and even jewelry! Hint! Hint!
I've used Helmar Tacky Craft Glue for my project. Tacky Craft Glue dries clear and does not wrinkle papers so it was perfect to use.
I scored a 9" x 9" cardstock square to create the box. After scoring and folding to create the box, I cut coordinating pattern papers to fit. I then inked, and adhered the papers with Helmar Tacky Craft Glue around the scored portions. A secondary layer was created and then adhered to the box bottom for another level of dimension. Pockets were then created on the flaps.
Tags were created to fit inside each pocket and friendship phrases were stamped on each tag. Ribbons were then tied to the tag for easy removal.
The box top was created from cardstock and coordinating papers. Again, I've used Helmar Tacky Craft Glue to adhere the panels. Around the edges I've added papers which were punched for a fun effect.
Around the box and the top I've added dew drops. Just a drop of Helmar Tacky Craft Glue was all that was needed to hold the dew drops in place.
These boxes are so much fun to create and can be used for so many occasions - think weddings, showers, birthdays and more.
Thanks for stopping by today.
