Hello beautiful people, Lydia back to share another scrapbooking layout related to bestfriends.
This layout I changed up a bit as I am used to traditional 12x12 layouts. I decided to have a go at a 8 1/2 by 11inch layout and I really love how it turned out.
For this layout you will need:
- 1x 8 1/2 by 11 inch cardstock
- Patterned paper for mounting photo and the corner
- Tissue Paper
- Embellishments: wood veneer, fair, paper doily, sequins ect.
- Scissors/trimmer
- Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive
- Helmar Acid Free Glue
- Helmar Craft Glue
- Helmar Gemstone Glue
- Helmar Decoupage & Craft Paste
First of all, I grabbed some patterned paper that I could cut up into a big triangle to put in the bottom corner, like photo corners. To adhere these I used the Helmar Craft Glue.
Next I added a different texture with some scrunched up tissue paper. This is where some of the fun came in, I got out the Helmar Decoupage & Craft Paste and adhered the tissue paper to add some texture as a layer behind the photo.
This layout came out really fast for me, so I adhered some pattered paper behind my photo of myself and one of my scrappy Best Friends using the Helmar Acid Free Glue and placed out all my embellishments that I wanted to include. Including a Studio Fourteen 40 flair badge.
I then adhered all my embellishments with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive .
Also added some sequins glued down with the Helmar Gemstone Glue.
So make sure you take lots of photos when you see you Best Friend/s so you can document those special moments you spend together!
