Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a card that I made using a complete selection of adhesives to create a project plain and with dimension at the same time. Take a look at my card:
I love flowers in all their styles but when I have these in die cuts I love to create my paper projects with dimension and keep the bases of my cards plain. So this sample was not the exception. To create this I used the next materials, it can be less because the Helmar adhesives are very useful but I want to show you each one that I used:
1. I cut the base of the card using Pool Party card stock. The size of the base is 4-1/4"x11" with score in 5-1/2"
2. I cut a second layer using Whisper White card stock. The size of the layer is 4"x5-1/4".
3. I cut a decorated piece of 3-1/2"x1-1/4" to add on the upper part.
4. I cut a stitched circle using Pool Party card stock.
5. I pasted the second layer, the decorated piece and the pool party stitched circle using the Helmar Quick-fix Permanent Adhesive Runner.
6. Then I cut a second layer of decorated paper with a different pattern of 4-1/4"x2" and adhered to the card using Helmar 1/2" Zapdots.
7. Then I cut a third piece of decorated paper with a different pattern, the size is 4-1/4"x1/2" . I decorated this with a few loops of strawberry slush thread that I secured with Helmar Fabric Glue.
8. Then I added the second stitched circle using the Helmar Quick-fix Permanent Adhesive Runner.
I only stuck the upper part of the circle
9. I cut some flowers and leaves using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from Stampin Up and different colors of card stock and I started to assemble this stuck the center of the flowers with Helmar 1/4" Round Clear Zapdots.
10. Then I added the leaves and flowers to the card using the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
11. To embellish each flower I used rhinestones that I pasted with the Helmar Gemstone Glue. My rhinestones are too small so I put a little amount of the Helmar Gemstone Glue over an acrylic block and then I passed my gem over the glue before pasting it over the flower.
12. The last step was stamping the sentiment and sticking this over the card I used Helmar Quick-fix Permanent Adhesive Runner.
Lets take a better look at the dimension:
What do you think? it's great to work with amazing tools and adhesives that bring us the best possibilities!
I hope my project inspired you with new techniques to try on your creations! We would love to see them!Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!
You created some fabulous dimension to your pretty card.
