Creating this is very simple:
Cut a circle or circles from different sizes using fun foam and a circle die cut. Apply Craft & Hobby PVA Glue over the entire face of the circle. Start to roll the bakers twine from the outside in.
On the center you can use the stylus to secure the point of the twine. You can also combine the colors if you want.
Let your circles dry for a few minutes and until this happens you can work on your card. Cut the base of the card and a second layer. In my model I used Pacific Point card stock for the base and Whisper White for the second layer. I cut the second layer using a cross stitched die cut. Then I pasted the layer over the card base using Helmar Quickfix Adhesive Runner
To complement the look of my card, I stamped a jar image on Whisper White card stock and cut it with a coordinated die cut. I used VersaFine Onix and clear embossing powder that I melted with my heat tool.
I assemble provisionally all the elements over the card before pasting each of these to know where I will stamp some sticks to handle my lollipops.
To paste each of these elements I used Craft & Hobby PVA Glue for two of the lollipos and Zapdots white for the jar and zapdots clear for the little bow.
Here is another look of my lollipop finalized. In this photo you will notice the different dimensions that I get with the zapdots.
The second lollipop is more sweet! It is perfect to decorate a gift package or complement any other present.
I made this using a rosette die cut from Sizzix. I cut two pieces of two sided decorated paper of 8-1/2"x2-1/2" and glued these through the big shot with the die cut to create the decorated border and the score lines.
Then I created the rosette pasting the sides with Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.
To secure the rosette I cut a 1-1/2" circle punch and I covered it with Craft & Hobby PVA Glue and paste over the back side of the Rosette.
I wanted this lollipop with a lot of sweet layers and for this I added a second layer created with a doily. My original doily was in the same size of the rosette so I decided to cut in a middle and take off a center part, the pasting again and have a small doily. I pasted it again using the Helmar Quickfix Adhesive Runner. Also I cut a circle with a cross stitched die cut in old olive card stock and pasted it over the rosette using zapdots. Maybe you noticed that I cut my zapdots in little squares, it is because I prefer this size for this kind of projects.
Now to adhere the handle. It is a Stylish Stix in green that I will use later to finalize the decoration and will help me to fix in my gift package. I glued this using Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.
As a final touch I added a heart and Dream Word that I cut from die cuts and pasted this with more zapdots. But this time you will note that I am using black round zapdot, that works perfectly with dark cardsock.
Now is time to see the lollipop finalized with a personal touch!!!
