My husband teaches Chemistry labs so I thought he might need a bookmark!
Here are the supplies I used:
In addition to Helmar Fabric Glue, I used kraft paper, canvas and burlap from Canvas Corp Brands and my sewing machine.
I found a wonderful way to use elements from the Periodic Table to spell the word teacher! Here is a link to a list of these words in case you want to make a book mark too! I printed those on kraft paper and used a marker to make a border around the edge. I cut the letters out and glued them to the canvas.
Once dry, I pressed a hem along each side of the bookmark. I sandwiched the wrong sides together and sewed it together.
I am very pleased with how this turned out! This project can be completed by both beginners and advanced sewers!
