Happy St Patrick's Day!
Now I do not celebrate this day but it is always a good excuse to make some sweet treats. Here I have made some Shamrock Cup Cake holders and Chocolate Boxes. Simple but effective! I am sure your work colleagues would be very happy!
All you need is white and green cardstock and of course adhesives!
I have used my Silhouette Cameo to make my Shamrocks and Chocolate boxes but there are many templates on line so you can hand cut if you do not have a machine.
I have used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere my Cup Cake holders and Chocolate Treat Boxes. Ensure you do not over do your glue keeping in mind you are adding food into them.
My little Shamrock sticks I have used Super-Tac Glue as I needed a strong glue to adhere the two shamrocks over the wooden toothpick.
Here is a layout for you but I have given it a bit of a twist going more modern than traditional.
Again I found a Shamrock shape but this time to add a modern touch I have gone for a Geometric Shamrock.
I have framed my doggie picture with a black glitter frame with St Patrick's Day.
For my title I have used black cardstock and again I have used a cutting machine but you could use any alphas you have at hand. What a great title!
I found the MEH! speech bubble in my stash and adhered with Helmar Scrap Dots to add height and give a 3D effect.
I used the Helmar Super-Tac Glue for my Glitter cardstock St Patircks Day frame as it requires a more substantial adhesive.
For my Shamrock and title I have used Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue.
A simple and clean looking layout made visually interesting by the over sized shamrock and contrasting block colours.
