Good afternoon, can you believe it's February already?
It's back to school time here in Australia so today I'm sharing
a layout of my youngest son Harry because I miss him!
It's been a lovely summer here in Melbourne.
We went to Lysterfield lake a few weeks back to cool off, and
I took these cute pictures of Harry and knew straight away
I wanted to scrap them.
I used these fabulous Helmar products on my layout
Also these papercraft products
Rinea foiled paper
Cocoa Vanilla Studios You Rock collection
Cocoa Vanilla Studios Totally Rad collection
D'Lish Scraps seriously rad just add paper kit
Crate Paper Yours truly 6x6 paper pad
Reject Shop corrugated cardstock
Cocoa Vanilla Studios enamel shapes
Freckled Fawn camera sticker
Charms Creations denim arrow
Spotlight beads and sequins
Craft Queen ribbon and brads
Kaisercraft wood veneers
Amy tan enamel shapes
Typo ribbon
Stapler
To begin the layout I machine stitched a border.
Then printed my photos 8 by 7 cm so I could fit all three in a series.
I matted the photo's with Rinea silver foiled paper and Helmar Craft and Hobby glue.
Next I glued my photos down and added a frame underneath the
middle picture. I used Helmar Craft and Hobby glue again even though
the frame has an adhesive back. They tend to become unstuck inside an
album without a decent glue.
Once the paper and photos were glued down I started on the embellishments.
First off was the gorgeous denim arrow from Charms Creations. I used Helmar
Fabric glue and it worked beautifully on it.
For the ribbons I used Helmar fray Stoppa and Fabric Glue
I wanted to leave the gorgeous bunting ribbon frayed.
I used some Helmar Scrap Dots on it for dimension.
I finished off the layout with beads and sequins using Helmar Gemstone glue.
Here's the finished layout. I hope it gives you some inspiration to create.
be sure to use Helmar products when you do!
