My daughter has a one year old daughter. She has been good about documenting her life, but I thought she needed a place to write her wishes, hopes, dreams, etc. I repurposed an old spiral notebook I had lying around.
My supplies for this project included an old spiral notebook, pattern papers, embellishments and Helmar 450!
I removed the front and back from the pad and covered them with pattern paper.
To this I added a variety of distressed papers. Once I was happy with the design, I secured them with 450. I love that the 450 dries quickly and is clear.
I did the same with the cluster of embellishments. I moved them around until I liked the arrangement, then secured with 450.
This will be a keepsake that my daughter can give to her daughter when she is grown.
Thank you for joining me today and I hope I have inspired you to get creative! If you need any Helmar supplies, you can click on the button on the right side of the blog.
I look forward to seeing you again next month! Happy crafting!
What a lovely keepsake book. I am sure it will be looked at many many times.
