Hello everyone! Amylove here to share my love of altering bags. Helmar Fabric Glue
makes it so easy! I was given a gift in this lovely burlap bag. It was certainly pretty just as it was.....but I just couldn't help myself and I embellished it!
What you will need:
a bag
laces and embellishments
I used Helmar Fabric Glue to add three crochet trims to dangle off of the bottom of the bag.
I added this trim to the top just under the drawstring. Helmar Fabric Glue dries flexible so when the drawstring is pulled tight, the lace will have a beautiful gather.
I finished off the bag by adding a trim to the front pocket and adding this adorable flower.
A pretty bag made prettier!
