Hi my crafty friends!! I hope that my project that I have been wanting to post for a while now will finally go through. This project was fun to maket o me because not only do I love anything vintage but because I love that an ATC (Artist Trading Card) , it is a wonderful way for you to not only have an amazing piece of art from crafty friends all over the world or even someone who inspires you, but these are super easy to keep stored. I will be showing you in an upcoming project sometime, just a few ways on how to store these fun projects. But for now I decided that I would share how to create these with those of you who might be new to paper crafting or maybe you just have not made these before. So here is another quick and easy photo tutorial for you to follow.
For this project I used some 65 lb. ivory & kraft color card stock, I used the Tim Holtz "Wallflower" 12x12 paper pad. I had noticed some sizes in this paper pad that are similar in size to the ATC, I only had to trim off 1/2 in off the top and side for it to be 2.5 X 3.5. I had previously cut my card stock at the same size. I then inked the card stock & design paper using my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and my dauber. . Once I had them inked I decided on using the adhesive from Helmar Tiger Grip Glue to adhere the design paper to the card stock. As you can see on my photo I only applied it in small dots, in this case, less is more. Even with the amount that I applied, I am not at the least bit worried that my papers will come apart or that my embellishments will not hold either as I decided to use it on my embellishments as well. I did also use my brayer once I added my design paper to the card stock that had the adhesive to make sure I spread the adhesive out evenly.
I do hope that you found this project easy to follow and that you will share it and other creations with us on the Helmar facebook page. Thank you for checking out my post today and hope you look out for my Christmas themed project here on the Helmar Creative Team Blog
Be back real soon! ~Hugs~ Jeanne
