In the midst of planning three art camps for the summer (what was I thinking?) I stopped to have a much needed spa day. Nice pedicure-right?
I looked at these spa supplies and started thinking of a recycle project.
Now before you can say "yuck" or "eeeewww" I asked the attendant for some new ones. And she obliged. lol
I was itching to try the Helmar foam glue I had back home.
The kids at the art camp will be making recycle projects. I used the foam toe separators to make a flower as a sample idea for the kids to view.
First I painted a piece of cardboard (the challenge will be to use all recycle items in a project).
Then glue on the little foam squares for the flower petals.
This mini spoon came from an ice cream shop(the Helmar premium Craft Glue worked great to adhere the plastic).
So perhaps this looks more like a stalk of broccoli (lol), but I am telling the campers that this is a flower. That is my story and I am sticking with it! They are going to have a blast with the foam glue!
Supplies:
Card board
Foam pieces
Paint
Flower stem(stick, paper, spoon etc.)
sponge brush
Thanks so much for looking at commenting. The kids are sure to have fun creating recycle projects with foam.
Happy crafting!
