Hi Everyone! I'm back to share my mixed media canvas. This month's theme for my project is "kindness" even just a little kindness, can brighten up someone's day!
Supplies you need:
A blank canvas, any size you like. ( I used a 9x12 inch canvas for my project)
Finnibair Art Basics -Gesso
Brush
Santoro "Gorjuss" 12x12 paper pack
Spectrum Noir Metallic Wax- Inca Gold
Prima Marketing Resin frame
Finnibair Art Ingredients -Melange Art Pebbles
Finnibair Art Alcemy Paints- Metallique Vintage Rose and Light Patina
Craft Factory "Stillwater" paper collection
Metal Corner Die or any Die you have on hand
Prima Marketing Flowers ( #634643)
Glitteriffic in Gold
Stickles glitter -Diamond
Spread one light coat of Gesso over your canvas. Let dry throughly or you can dry it using your heat tool for faster dry time.

Choose your background paper and cut it down to size, leaving about 1/4 inch of canvas around the edge . For the 9x12 inch canvas, I cut my paper to 8x11 inches. Then used Helmar Acid Free glue to glue my paper to my canvas.

Next I choose a few papers from the 6x6 Stillwater paper pad, and fuzzy cut out some flowers and tore a few other pieces of paper to decorate the corners of my canvas. I diecut one of the corner pieces. Glue your pieces onto the corners of your canvas.

To add dimension to my diecut corner piece I used Helmar Scrap Dots 3D glue.

Next take your resin frame and rub a small amount of the metallic wax over the raised edge of the frame.
Take 5 different sized Melange Art Pebbles, and paint the backs using both colors of acrylic paints. Let dry throughly.

Next take your chipboard letters and arrange them diagonally across your canvas. I used Helmar Tacky glue to attach them to my canvas.
For the pebbles, I glued them down using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. I scattered them in different areas on my canvas.

Next choose whatever diecuts and embellishments you like and arrange them onto your canvas. I didn't glue them down until I was sure of my placement. I love using Helmar 3D scrapdots to add lift and dimension to my diecuts and embellishments.

The last step I did was add a little Glitteriffic to my flower petals.

I hope you liked this project and will try to make one for yourself or as a gift.
Happy Crafting! I look forward to creating another project for you very soon. Thank you!
Dana
