We all have those spare buttons stashed away, you know the ones, those that you never end up using on your projects for one reason or another, well here's a very simple project that will get you creating and using up those buttons.
What you will need:
Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, spare buttons (flat) and some sparkles/rhinestones/bling or similar.
Firstly, you will need to sort through your buttons and start to stack a couple together, it's preferable if they sit nice and flat on top of each other so they stick well. Play around with colours and textures and find the look you are after. Use as many buttons as you like, I'm keeping mine to two buttons as I need some fairly flat embellishments.
Once you are happy with them, take your Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and apply a little glue to the base of the top button.
Place this button on top of the lower button and press to secure. Repeat this step if you have more than two buttons and allow time to dry.
Now take your sparkle etc of choice and add a little Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to the top button and then place your decorative piece on top. I'm using self adhesive sparkles but I still like to add glue for extra hold.
And there we have it, some lovely Button Bonbons to decorate your projects with. It's nice to have a stash of these on hand to add to a project for that little bit extra :)
I hope you enjoyed this easy tutorial and will consider using up some of those forgotten buttons that keep getting put back in the jar time after time.
Take care everyone
