December Christmas Table Centre By Debra Beer

Hi Everyone,

Debra here to share with you , my project for December.

This month I decided to make a Centrepiece for the table for Christmas.

Please note this is for decoration only, the candles will not be lit.

I started with a visit to our local Reject shop for some supplies of candles,

flowers etc and of course a board to attach it all to.

I then dug through my stash for burlap, ribbon , beads, bells, Gesso etc.

I took all the flower sprays and cut them into individual pieces.

Next I covered each candle with a piece of burlap and glued in place using Tiger Glue.

Once all the candles were covered with burlap, I tied gold ribbon around each and

then left the glue to dry, while I worked on the next stages.

Next I took the white flowers , spread a little or the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive

on each petal , then sprinkled the gold micro beads over the petals

The next step was to repeat the above process using the gold flowers

and the Distress Dry Glitter, allow to dry

Next was the pine cones, using Gesso on my finger, I randomly dabbed a little a

round the pine cone, then rolled it in the Distress dry Glitter. Allow to dry.

Now it is time to start arranging everything, I used the Helmar Gorilla Glue to stick

the candles to the cork place mat, took a while to dry but stuck well

I glued gold beads to the top of the 5 fatter candles using the Helmar 450

Quick Dry Adhesive. Time to arrange flowers leaves pine cones etc again using

Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

Fairy Wishes Canvas by Amanda M

Hellloooooo Everyone....

Today I have an 8x10 Canvas project for you.

Products Used

First off I have cut a piece of paper to fit the canvas and

then used some spray adhesive to adhere it.

Next I have mixed a bit of glitter with some Gloss Gel and used a stencil to add to the background,

The gel will dry clear so it leaves a nice sparkle.

Using some gemstone Glue I have added some Prills to the centers of the flowers.

I have used a brush to apply some of the Gemstone glue and have added to types of glitter to bling out my fairy.

I have used some white embossing powder on the chipboard bubbles and glued them on with some Super-Tac glue

Still using the Super-Tac glue attatch the flowers and other pieces.

I have used some sticky dots with the super-Tac glue to give the fairy some height.

I have finished off by adding some coloured pearls around the fairy, some stickles on the butterflies and

Glossy accents on the word circles, ( it didnt quite work out, so I put different ones on top)

I have finished off by painting the sides of the canvas with some opal magic paint.

November Layout, Mermaids by Debra Beer

Hi Everyone,

It's Debra , sharing with you my first project using the amazing Helmar products.

I gathered together an array of bits and pieces I thought I would use:

Once happy with my papers I attached my base paper, (I cut the image from the right hand to corner) to a backing of white cardstock using the Helmar Acid free glue.

I them started to layer images that I had previously fussy cut from the papers, Layering at different heights using thin cardboard glued into place with the acid free glue.

Using a wave stencil and some texture paste, I added some extra texture to my background

I continued layering elements and added the photo , that I had cut into a circle.

Now it is really starting to take shape, it is time to pull out the Helmar 450 and start adding micro beads, prills, glass domes and distress glitter.
