I’ve created a sweet altered frame plaque
I’ve used a chipboard frame and old lace doily both purchased from an op shop
First step was to gesso the chipboard frame and resin corners.
I cut apart the doily into flower segments and lace strips ready to glue to the frame.
I’ve then painted the frame with watered down Nuvo paste and added a bit of darker stencilling.
Using Tiger grip glue I have attached the doily flower segments and the resin corners.
It's time to embellish the project using flowers, gemstones, coloured marble balls and some kindy glitz!
For the inside of the frame, I have used old tissue pattern paper, calico, onion bag mesh and some tissue paper.
I attached the calico to the inside piece of the frame
then added the other materials finishing off with a pair of vintage ladies coloured in with distress crayons.
Finally some wax highlights and a vintage girls label.
